Hunters can expect to see a vast majority of Antelope on a hunt with us. We offer both archery and rifle hunts. Archery hunts beginning August 15th, and rifle hunts starting in early October and go into the beginning of November each year.

Both archery and rifle hunts are very action packed, and a hunter can often expect to get up to 10 stalks in a day, and see hundreds of Antelope. If hunting over water in a ground blind is ideal for you, that is not a problem at all. A hunter can expect to have a hundred percent opportunity on an Antelope hunt with us.

  • Mule Deer

Mule Deer hunting has always been our favorite animal to hunt. From the peaks of the timbered ridges, to the prairie sage flats, you can find Mule Deer in Montana. On a hunt with Golden Outfitters for Mule Deer, a hunter can expect to do a lot glassing, frequent walking, and views of beautiful Montana prairies. One thing that makes Montana such a desired state to hunt for these animals is the “Rut Hunt” opportunity.

These hunts start in the third week of October and run to the end of November. Booking quick, and getting a spot in the prime rut time is ideal, but these hunts can also be phenomenal the first couple weeks as well. The more mature bucks usually show themselves the more you get into November. It is an absolutely thrilling time chasing Montana Rutting Mule Deer. Add an Antelope hunt to this and make it a combo hunt, for an even more action packed 5 days with us.

  • Elk

Montana has some of the best Elk Hunting this World has to offer. With fairly good odds to get in on trophy units, compared to other states.

The archery draw can be fairly simple, a hunter can expect to draw an archery permit for one of our units within 3 years, and often see it happen the first year. Screaming bulls in Montana is absolutely an experience of a lifetime. We want to put clients on mature bulls and get them right in our lap. This can be a challenging hunt with terrain, heat, and sometimes snow, so be prepared to be in shape and on the hoof all day.

We do offer general unit hunts for rifle, which can be a much easier draw. Special permit draws for rifle can often take much more points, but the beauty of Montana is that it is a lottery system and anybody can draw on any given year. Please do not hesitate to give us a call, and we can talk about opportunities for getting bonus points and preference points built up and get a Rifle Elk hunt planned.
